Another absolutely beautiful morning having coffee with Jesus. Each day as I reflect on the readings of the day, followed by some devotionals, the office, and Rosary, I think about how easy it is to know a lot ABOUT God, but not know HIM.
Don’t get me wrong, all of that reading and praying is not a waste of time, but It should lead to a deeper desire to spend time with HIM. To wait quietly and patiently to hear HIS voice. To talk to HIM, to speak from the heart, to slow down enough to share with Him the yearnings of your heart, to dedicate this new day to HIM. To be open to the plans HE has for you and to see HIM throughout your day.
Today add to your time with HIM SILENCE. Clear your mind, breathe deeply and be in HIS presence. How can it not be the best day ever when HE is present to us and we recognize it? Have a Christ filled day!
