As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I am grateful for the men and women who made today possible. As God created this day many men and women have given their lives to protect our freedom. I put out my flag today and spend some time in silence praying for those men and women who died serving in the military. I think of their families and the great sacrifices made so that I could pray and worship, that I can vote and have rights. Today is a day of remembering I think of my father who served in the Marines, my grandfather in the Coast Guard my sons in the Marines, navy and army and all those who are away from their homes right now protecting our country. Take a moment of gratitude today and celebrate those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Let us pray for peace in our world, in our nation, our community and our homes. Today is a day to remember with gratitude!
