As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word EXCITEMENT. It seems like it has been a long time since people have been EXCITED about anything. The other day, a friend said to me, “The only thing I am excited about is going to bed at night and saying goodbye to a nothing day.”
As Christians, we should be EXCITED about many things. We should be excited about each new day and the many ways in which God speaks to us. We should be excited that, as a community, we can work through many obstacles. We should be excited about God’s WORD, and know that we are not alone, that there is a divine plan.
So, it’s time to wake up and get EXCITED. It’s time to stop complaining about what was and be excited about what IS. Just think, we have a whole day to see God’s hand at work. We have the choice to be EXCITED or BORED. I’ve decided I’m going to choose to be EXCITED today!
