As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I find it hard to believe it’s already December! I am finding myself needing to force myself to get into the Christmas season. I’m a visual person, so my house is already set up. I’m putting all my energy into the SPIRITUAL preparation.
I have my regular devotionals that I read every day, and, of course, the Office (prayer of the church), and the rosary. I know that I need more to bring the season to my heart. So, this ADVENT, I am making a special prayer list to be prayed by name every day, for those seeking prayer for illness, struggles, addictions or whatever they need in prayer. This is something you can do too, and each morning I am going to read their names out loud.
If you have a prayer request, please feel free to respond to me with it and I will add it to my list. ADVENT is a time to welcome Jesus, to renew our faith in HIM, and to bring HIS light to the world. What better way than with prayer!
