As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on the power of the NAME of JESUS! Scriptures remind us that His name contains power. John 14:13 says, ”Whatever you ask in my NAME, this I will do, that the FATHER may be glorified in the SON.” How often do we truly rely on HIM; how often do we call out HIS name?
Romans 10:13 says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” His is not a name like every other name. It is often taken in vain but to one who believes and trusts in HIM, it becomes a power in a world of darkness.
Today, I am going to call upon HIS name. I am going to trust HIS word. I will LIVE HIS promises! I will feel the power of God as I call on the name of JESUS. Isn’t it great to know that when you’re sad, or attacked, and the world seems dark, all we need to do is to call on HIS NAME and HE will be there!
