As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about “HANGING ON”. Sometimes it feels as though we’re just HANGING ON. The big question becomes what are we hanging on to? Are we hanging onto the past? Are we hanging on to what the future might hold? Are we hanging on by a thread?
When times and situations seem difficult, maybe we are struggling with one of our children, or grief, or depression, or anxiety, we FEEL like we’re BARELY hanging on.
But when we have Jesus in our lives, we’re not hanging on, HE is HOLDING US UP. These all become lessons of our trust in HIM and in HIS WORD!
So, today, instead of hanging on, FEEL HIS arms wrapped around you, feel the strength, the love, and the peace. Whatever is going on in your life, HE is allowing it for your growth and holiness, and for the growth and holiness of others.
Today, HE is there for you, and HE has HIS arms tightly wrapped around you. Have a blessed day, and if you’re going to hang onto something, hang on to the promise that it’s going to be a better day!
