As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word CONSISTENCY. I think it is important that we have consistency in our lives. Consistency in the way in which we live, in our prayer lives, and especially in our relationships with the Lord!
CONSISTENCY means acting or doing something in the same way over time. Scriptures tell us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,” Hebrews 13:8. I feel I am consistent with my prayer life…I wish sometimes I were as consistent with my workouts and my diet!
Today, I am going to strive to be more consistent in my walk with the Lord, taking time for real prayer, for silence, and for listening to the direction of His spirit.
