As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word COURAGE. The definition of courage is strength in the face of pain or grief. I have been blessed in my life to know many people who are COURAGEOUS! I have a friend who is been battling cancer; she’s fighting the fight. I also know a young boy who is fighting that same fight with cancer. I watch them rely on their Faith in God.
I have friends who have lost their long-time spouses, and friends who have lost children. The list goes on and on. They all continue to have a positive attitude in their pain and strive hard to be COURAGEOUS! Scriptures tell us in 1 Chronicles 28:20, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God is with you.” And Psalm 31:24, “Be strong, and let your heart take COURAGE all you who wait for the Lord!” No matter what is happening in your life, whatever trials come your way, have courage and TRUST in the Lord.
