    Connection and Disconnection

    by Craig F. Harrison February 1, 2026

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking of the words CONNECTION and DISCONNECTION. As I go through my day, I’m always trying to find CONNECTIONS. It may be connection with God, with friends, with what I’m reading, or who I am listening to.

I need connections! I’m also aware of the things I need to DISCONNECT from each day. I need to disconnect from the negativity, the gossip, and the judgment; there are even people I need to disconnect from. What are you connecting with today and what do you need to disconnect from? Today, maybe God is calling you to connect with HIM in prayer (HE ALWAYS IS). Maybe it’s time to connect with a family member or friend. God may also be calling you to disconnect; to disconnect from the amount of time on your cell phone or on Facebook. Maybe there’s someone that you need to disconnect from because they are keeping you from being the best version of yourself. Today, I am going to focus on connecting with our LORD. I think I may have a second cup of coffee with HIM. I think today I will disconnect from the news media and maybe even the REFRIGERATOR! Life is about connecting and disconnecting! Have a blessed day CONNECTING to HIM!
