As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus on this beautiful morning, I was reflecting on a picture I have in my room that says, “Be still and know that I AM!” A very short sentence, but one that speaks to the heart.
Amidst the chaos in the world, and all the questions that have no answers, it is not easy to BE STILL! When we do sit still and rest in HIS presence, we get a better perspective. We know that everything is going to be OK! We become one with the great I AM!
When we are still, HE can speak to our heart, and HE reminds us that we are HIS beloved. Just like when Jesus came up from HIS baptism, the skies opened, and they heard, “This is MY BELOVED SON.” When we sit in the presence of the great I AM, we, too, are reminded that we are BELOVED, BLESSED that we will be BROKEN so we can be GIVEN. So, today find time to be STILL, sit with the great I AM, and feel the peace, the balance, the strength, and security of being the BELOVED.
