As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I am aware of HIS LOVING PRESENCE in this day. It begins when I wake up, with two feet on the ground. HE has a plan and I am part of it. HIS WORDS are to be turned into my ACTIONS and that’s what makes every day NEW, an exciting experience.
What will my attitude be today? Will it be one of bringing HIS positive message, HIS WORD, to our world? Will I take HIS message of love and spread it? Living in HIS presence and LIGHT means we become HIS actions. Will I get caught up in this world today or in his WORD? Will I forgive seventy times seven or waste my energy holding on to the pain? Will I reach out and help somebody in need or will I be holding tight onto MY To Do list today? The choice is mine; every morning that HE gives me is a new day!
Will I serve HIM and build HIS kingdom or my own? Today, I begin my day in HIS WORD, HIS promises, and HIS call to action. I only need to think about today; yesterday has passed, tomorrow will have its own problems. But today, I can focus on being HIS light in the world, making this the brightest of New Year! Have a great day, and live in and be the LIGHT.
