Tomorrow

Craig Harrison's Coffee with Jesus reflections provide a healthy cup of daily inspiration to start your day. Cover art by

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on a quote from St. Francis de Sales, “Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day.  Either HE will shield you from suffering, or HE will give you unfailing strength to bear it.  Be at peace then, put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations and say continually: the Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart has trusted in HIM, and I am helped.  HE is not only with me but in me and I in HIM.”

There is so much more we can learn and so much more PEACE we can achieve if we only LISTEN to the Lord.  He will give us all we need for today, so forget about yesterday, and don’t fret about tomorrow.  Let’s live today THROUGH HIM, WITH HIM AND IN HIM!

Have a blessed day serving HIM!

Buon Giorno Monsignor Wow! Today’s message is absolutely on pointe, St. Francis de Sales quote, “Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day”… Be at peace then, put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations…There is so much more… PEACE we can achieve if we only LISTEN to the Lord. He will give us all we need for today, so forget about yesterday, and don’t fret about tomorrow. Let’s live today THROUGH HIM, WITH HIM AND IN HIM!” POWERFUL message and we should all strive to create this mantra mentally, but show it outwardly as well; to help others in need, see and feel HIS presence through all situations, whether they are painful or full of happiness and love. Give HIM HIS undue exaltation, praise and glory. Thank HIM for our own personal growth journey; for the understanding and acceptance of HIS path HE has created for each of us. Monsignor, your actions mirror this message. I try to be righteous, I fall sometimes, but I get up and try again to please our Father by living today to it’s fullest extent and let go of my anxiety and worry for the future. HE’S got this! il tuo messaggio mi ha toccato il cuore, Enjoy your Friday!

Great message! I'm just going to try to get through today! Each day that I have to go shopping for items, I run into people who comment on the Cross that I am wearing! Some ask me where it's from since they haven't seen one like it? I tell them I was told that the wood comes from the area where Jesus was crucified, or so I was told when I bought it! They tell me it's beautiful and they can tell that I'm deeply religious since I'm wearing it!!!!! Amen and GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
