Thank You

Craig Harrison's Coffee with Jesus reflections provide a healthy cup of daily inspiration to start your day. Cover art by

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, and enjoy a beautiful bundt cake that was left for me, I can only think about the words THANK YOU. I fell asleep early last night. I was exhausted, but before I went to bed, all I could do was tell the Lord, “THANK YOU. Thank you, Lord, for being my strength!”

I thought of all the friends who have walked with me over years, some of which were so dark; they continually reminded me to look to the LIGHT. I want to THANK the Lord for the gift of all my friends and family, my children and grandchildren who have held me up. My true friends, and I mean true friends, who have never left my side.

So today, I am grateful it is a new day. I am a new man, and God is going to be the only one who tells me what HE needs me to do! I can’t wait to see what today holds! Thank you to all of you who read “Coffee with Jesus”. It keeps me close to HIM and to you.

Have a blessed day and thank you!

Buon Giorno Monsignor, THANK YOU for your daily uplifting messages in Coffee with Jesus, this one actually made me happy and sad at the same time. Knowing your background story with the horrible way you were treated by the Fresno Diocese when you did absolutely nothing wrong. You made the most difficult decision in your life, to leave the Catholic Church, the church was your family, your congregation, your fellow brotherhood and the community of which you were instrumental in so many ways. It saddens me to know you were the target from a little jealous man, he was jealous you were so loved and well respected. Unfortunately, you quickly learned who love you, who respect you and who are your TRUE friends. I guess my understanding includes my own dark painful dealings with the Fresno Diocese, if they treated you I such a horrific manner, a man of the cloth, I had no chance in hell to be heard, much less helped when I asked many times in writing, for my own personal hell I was going through with OLPH. I’m happy our Father has you given you strength, support and love from those who are your TRUE friends. I’m happy HE has given you another amazing exciting and rewarding journey. You are in a different manner helping even more folks now, I know sadly, you have a deeper understanding of those of us who’ve experienced life shattering circumstances in our individual journeys. May HE continue to give you many many blessings where you’ll tell Him THANK YOU. Your broken hurt friend, Marta
