As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I had to come back to the word SURRENDER. Surrendering to God’s will in our life brings with peace and contentment. I know I need that and so I am practicing the art of Surrendering.
As I sit here and bring myself into HIS presence, I surrender all of the chaos and anxiety to HIM in exchange HE gives me PEACE. Peace that HE is the KING OF KINGS, the LORD OF LORDS. HE has a plan, and I am part of it. When I SURRENDER, I let HIM run HIS world and the best I can do is offer my assistance. HE only asks one thing that I live in HIM and HE live in me. That is a very safe place to live.
Today, Lord I SURRENDER everything to you, YOU take care of everything. Make me an instrument of YOUR peace, where there is hatred let me sow love! (St Francis). Today let us SURRENDER our life to HIM! Matthew 16:25 “For whoever would save his life will lose it, whoever loses his life for MY sake will find it.” It is going to be a great day because I am going to let God run it… I better let HIM know now… HE Is used to watching me take control.
