Safety

Craig Harrison's Coffee with Jesus reflections provide a healthy cup of daily inspiration to start your day. Cover art by

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on Psalm 40:1-2, “I waited patiently for the Lord’s help; then HE listened to me and heard my cry. He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand. He set me safely on a rock and made me secure.” That scripture is very powerful. Sometimes we need to make changes in our lives, changes so that we can deepen our relationship with Christ and serve others in our greater way.

When we walk with HIM, we are on the safety of the rock and are made secure. We can battle, we can spend our life fighting, or we can live for, with, and in HIM! What is holding you back from following Jesus? Whatever it is, it is time to move out of the pit and into HIS arms. We have nothing to fear when we follow Christ!

Today, live in HIS presence, embrace HIS journey, celebrate HIS love, and get out of the dangerous pit, the pit of self-pity, lack of trust, worry and anxiety! Stand securely on the rock. Have faith in Jesus!

Have a wonderful day!

Love this Monsignor, “We can battle, we can spend our life fighting, or we can live for, with, and in HIM! Today, live in HIS presence, embrace HIS journey, celebrate HIS love, and get out of the dangerous pit, the pit of self-pity, lack of trust, worry and anxiety!”
