Pray with perseverance

Today as I have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on a quote a friend sent me from Saint Padre Pio. Padre Pio said “In the meantime, don’t worry to the point of losing your inner peace. Pray with perseverance, with faith, with calmness and serenity.”

September 11 brought fear and anxiety into our world, the pandemic has continued it, but we need to listen to the words of this saint. We need to hold onto our inner peace. To remain prayerful and persevere. Yes, there is evil in the world but with faith, we can bring the presence of God to a world that desperately needs it and restore PEACE!

Today I will remember; the lives lost on 911, the lives that have been lost to this pandemic, and NOT forget. But I will also refuse to live in fear and lose the PEACE! God will destroy evil. I will remain prayerful and persevere. We cannot give in to fear! Have a blessed day and remember we TRUST in HIM!
