Plans

Craig Harrison's Coffee with Jesus reflections provide a healthy cup of daily inspiration to start your day. Cover art by

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, taking a day to catch up with my thoughts, I was thinking of a special verse in scripture that I call my LIFE verse.  When I had my conversion back in college, this Scripture from Jeremiah spoke to me.  Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you HOPE and a future”.

This verse helps me to remember that God always has a plan for me, and my only responsibility is to be OPEN to it.  So, I sit here in GRATITUDE that God loves me so much and has a plan for me.  Being a person who likes to have control, it reminds me how much more I must surrender.

So, today I sit in gratitude for HIS PLAN. I have been blessed with a beautiful family and wonderful grandkids, good friends, much support, and a deep FAITH in CHRIST.  I don’t know why sometimes I doubt there’s a PLAN; He has never let me down.  Today I’m going to trust in HIS PLAN!

Have a blessed day!

Buon Giorno, For those of us used to driving our own way, it’s extremely difficult to just let it all go and sit in the passenger car. This is exactly what our Father wants from us. It’s HIS plan, not ours. We need to be faithful, trust and know, HE’s got this! Your statements remind me to let it go, I’m just along for the glorious tide, “This verse helps me to remember that God always has a plan for me, and my only responsibility is to be OPEN to it. So, I sit here in GRATITUDE that God loves me so much and has a plan for me. Being a person who likes to have control, it reminds me how much more I must surrender. After what I've been through from the car accident in 2018, I have found that the only one I can trust is GOD since the doctors, lawyers and the court system (delaying the court date for two years, etc.) let me down! I will have the pain in my neck, shoulder and right arm for the rest of my life since the doctor at the time said she didn't believe I was that badly injured and did nothing to help me! Due to this, she is no longer my doctor!!!!! Out of this, I now have a doctor or doctors who are helping me! I listened to GOD and friends of mine and changed to another doctor, who's office had been helping me!!! I listened to GOD and now I am getting better care! Amen and GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
