Overcoming Fear

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the phrase, “OVERCOMING FEAR”.  Fear can be so debilitating.  I realize that for much of my life I have lived in fear.  I was afraid of making mistakes, afraid of the dark, afraid that someone wouldn’t like me.

God has led me through a wild journey from fear to trust.  Today, I am not afraid!  It says in Romans 8:31- 32, “If God is for us, who is against us?  He who did not withhold His own son, but gave Him up for all of us, will He not, with Him, also give us everything else?”

When we live in fear we cannot live in the trust and grace of the FATHER.  We either put our hope and trust in HIM or in the world, where fear is produced.  If you’re tired of being afraid, afraid of people, afraid of situations in your life, or afraid of life itself, then it’s time to turn back to the FATHER.

Today, remember that with Jesus we have nothing to fear! Jesus came here that we might have life and have it abundantly!

Have a Blessed day replacing fear with trust!

Buon Giorno Monsignor, Why would be afraid, why would we harbor fear, why would we NOT OVERCOME FEAR? We have God’s armor all around us, HE will protect us against even ourselves. We are our own worse enemy, the fear we perceive, perseverate and repeat in our mind can be debilitating; we must walk in blind faith knowing we are protected from all evil on this temporary world. Let it go, walk in joy, happiness, hope and love as HE expects us to be. Lastly, if we sense someone is fearful, scared or hurt, help them feel comfortable and safe, knowing HIS umbrella will shield all of us from all torrential rain.
