Mother’s Day

On this beautiful Sunday morning as I have coffee with Jesus, I can’t help but think of mothers. Every year at this time I read the story,” I’ll love you forever”. I think of my own mother who passed six years ago and what a gift she was. And I wish all of you who have been mothers a very blessed and Happy Mother’s Day.

In a special way today I’m thinking of mothers who are estranged from their children or mothers who’ve lost a child. I pray that you know the love of your child that can never die. There are some mothers today who have children who suffer from addiction, mental illness, or for whatever reason are estranged today. I ask you to say a special prayer for your children to know that they love you even in their own pain and journey.

I also lift up mothers who have suffered the loss of a child at any stage of life. May you live in the promise of Christ that you will be together again. May this Mother’s Day also remind us of the gift that Christ gave us in HIS mother. Today’s a beautiful day to celebrate the gift of our mothers. And I want to thank all of the other special women out there who have been mothers to me you know who you are!
