Inner Stillness

Craig Harrison's Coffee with Jesus reflections provide a healthy cup of daily inspiration to start your day. Cover art by

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on INNER STILLNESS.  A few years ago, I went through a personal crisis.  Even thinking about it brings tension to my body.  During that time, I was filled with intense anxiety and helplessness.  I was overwhelmed by circumstances.  I felt paralyzed.  During that time, inside my heart, I could hear only a whisper, “Be still, and know that I am GOD.”  Something greater than me and my circumstances were holding me together.

This is the Easter experience, finding that stillness, that moment where we can find the truth that God is WITH us.  Don’t get me wrong, it was a long journey, but the voice got louder, and I became still.  The only thing I could embrace were those words,” Be still, and know that I am God.”

Today, as I begin my day, I take a moment to be STILL and listen to that voice that speaks from my inner soul, “Be still and know that I am God” and I know that will bring me to the peace that only comes from HIM!

Find that Stillness and you will find HIS PEACE!

Monsignor, as always it’s uplifting modeling a positive mindset. You were gently carried by God during your horrific experience with the Fresno Diocese. HE had something so beautiful and amazing which now helps you reach followers throughout the world. As the saying goes, we truly don’t understand HiS love. peace, tranquillity, gratitude while increasing our faith until we hit rock bottom. Many of us have experienced, walked through trials and turbulent situations. I too went through a dark horrific nightmare myself, so much so our Father told me with firmness but with love, “I know what your planning to do, do not do it, I will NOT let you die, I still have tasks for you to complete on Earth. He was correct, HE didn’t let me die even though my severe depression caused me to attempt to leave this world. I’m actually happier now knowing I will never ever reach the level of pain, depression and suffering as my faith has reached a new trajectory, I feel HIS love and protection. As HE told me, I still have work on Earth, HE will place HiS armor all around me until I complete my assignments. Until then, I’m appreciating every day HE gifts me.
