As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I can only be filled with GRATITUDE, gratitude for the entire Advent and Christmas season. It was centered on Jesus; HIS presence was so powerful. From taking the dog for a walk, to the quiet time to reading Christmas cards, and dinner with friends, I found peace. I even watched an old Christmas movie!
At dinner, we were talking about Christmases past. We shared about all the activities and memories of when we were children. It made us realize how present Jesus has always been in our lives. The large gatherings, the big meals, the presents, the school performances, the office parties, all those activities were part of Christ’s plan for us.
So, today is a Day of GRATITUDE for reminding me of how blessed I have been and what sometimes I took for granted. Thank you, Lord, for a TRUE Christmas. By the way, Christmas is not over; we continue to celebrate the PRESENCE of Jesus in our world.
