As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word FREEDOM. Epictetus said, ”But anyone who can be restricted, coerced, or pushed into something against what they will is a slave.” The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:1, “It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be a burden again by a yoke of slavery.” Psalm 119:45 says, “I will walk about in FREEDOM, for I have sought out your precepts.”
It is good for us to reflect on FREEDOM, that we have choices, that our choices should be guided by God‘s WORD. Oftentimes, we can feel controlled or our freedoms are taken away by others, but our FREEDOM comes from Christ and our relationship with HIM. It allows us to live and preach the GOOD NEWS.
Today, embrace the FREEDOM that Jesus called you to. Live in FREEDOM, not controlled, coerced, or restricted, but in the true freedom of faith. It is liberating to live in Christ’s FREEDOM. The Good News of Jesus Christ lives through you!
Be free and have a blessed day!
