As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word FOCUS. I was talking with one of my grandchildren who was telling me how hard it was for him to FOCUS in class. Then a friend of mine called me and said he had a hard time focusing when reading the Scriptures, how his mind kept wandering.
I think all of us have some brain fog which keeps us from being able to FOCUS, but one thing we can FOCUS on is God’s LOVE. Every day that we wake up, God breathes new life into us. We don’t need to overthink it, we really don’t have to focus on it, we just have to
gratefully accept it. Yes, we may be struggling with focusing on some of the simplest things. Last night I went downstairs, and I couldn’t even remember why I went down there. I still don’t! But what I am going to focus on is God’s love.
So today, don’t worry if you can’t remember what you’re doing or even why you’re doing it, just remember God loves you and when you’re confused, think of HIM!
