Adventure

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I was thinking about the word ADVENTURE. My grandson who is six loves to come and go on treasure hunts. I hide clues that lead to a map, I bury a tiny little chest and he finds it with some little trinket in it. He said to me Papa I love our ADVENTURE. Every day should be an ADVENTURE for us as we search for the treasures that God has placed right before us. There are clues everywhere. The sun rising, the birds singing, a call from a friend, a card in the mail. There are treasures everywhere but often times we are so distracted by her thoughts, or our things to do list that we forget to look for the treasures. Today I’m going to look for the clues, I’m not going to be distracted with all the things I need to do. I’m going to find the treasure. The treasure is Jesus Christ!
