As I sit and have my cup coffee with Jesus, I was watching the SEASONS CHANGE. Some of the leaves on my trees are beginning to yellow, turn red, and fall to the ground. There’s a crispness in the air. Fall decorations have come out, and it makes me aware that there are not just changes in nature, but CHANGE in ourselves, too.
The change of the seasons helps me reflect on the changes I’ve experienced in my life, the joys, the sorrows, the trials, the achievements, and the ups and downs of daily life. Seasons remind me that change is good. It makes things new; it renews. Rev 21:5 says, “Behold, I make all things new.”
Maybe it is time for us to welcome change not with fear, but with excitement and spirit. It’s happening all around us every day. The sun just came up and birds are welcoming a new day. The seasons invite us to change. A new season of our lives has come. Let us embrace it and find CHRIST present in it!
Have a blessed day full of change!
