As we reached this final stage of our journey, we paused to reflect on those who have walked beside us, guiding, shaping, and supporting us along the way. We do not travel alone. The wisdom, love, and sacrifices of our parents and mentors remain with us, lighting our path as we move forward.

In this special session, we honored those who have influenced our lives, remembering the lessons they have taught, the strength they have instilled, and the gifts they have given us for the road ahead. Through gratitude and reflection, we celebrated their presence in our journey, whether they walk beside us today or remain in our hearts forever.

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I think about the power of BREATHING.  In the book of Genesis 2:7, it says that “The Lord our God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed life into his nostrils, the breath of LIFE, and the man became a living creature.”

Every time we pause to take a deep breath, we connect with that FIRST breath.  Our minds become clear, our hearts slow down, and we bring peace into the moment.  We are so used to being in such a hurry, worrying about so many things, that we forget the simple gift of BREATH.

Today, as you go through your day, as you get in your car, between appointments, take a moment and pause and take a deep BREATH and reconnect with GOD!

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word FOUNDATION.  Foundations are very important.  For some, we had parents who laid a very strong and healthy foundation for us; others had to build their own.  Some people have been blessed to have had teachers, coaches, mentors, or spiritual leaders who helped to build a strong foundation.

Today is a great day to reflect on who helped build your foundation.  Who helped you to get to where you are today?  As Christians, we are blessed that JESUS has become our FOUNDATION.  It’s on HIS WORD that we build our lives.  Our faith in HIM has become the cornerstone on which we build our lives today.  It doesn’t matter whether you started with a weak foundation or a strong one.  What matters is that Christ is the cornerstone of that foundation, and not even Satan can touch that!
